Out and about in our communities

Updated: Aug 7, 2018

In 2017, thanks to the many volunteers, community partners, and the donations received, collectively our Northern Region was able to distribute over 400 backpacks filled with necessities, snacks, resource handouts, bibles and much more along with over 300 sleeping bags. Our newly established Southern Region collectively distributed 100 backpacks and sleeping bags.

In addition, in 2017 LHOHH provided over 40 brand new children's backpacks filled with school supplies, socks, a fleece blanket, hat, gloves, scraves and more to Sequoia Elementary school in Sacramento!

In 2016, LHOHH worked with a Head Start program in North Highlands delivering backpacks filled with age appropriate school supplies, hats, gloves, scraves, socks, fleece blanket, snack food items, toys and more! Head Start is a program for children residing in low income homes and is designed as a preschool-pre kindergarten program.
