LOTS HAS BEEN HAPPENING!

Hi! Lots has been happening with LHOHH! We delivered our first donations of purses to the Central Coast of California. There were 3 donations. Two were to women in SLEs (Sober Living Environments) and one to a transitional housing for women. This project is ongoing. Please reach out if you'd like to donate purses or items to go inside the purses.

Also, we have not heard back from Facebook staff after much effort which included several attempts via Facebook and a certified return receipt letter. With that, we have launched another Facebook page. The name was tweaked a bit. Facebook would not allow another page with the exact name. So, you can locate us by searching Lighthouse of Hopeful Hearts 2. Sadly, we lost over 2100 followers. However, I am working diligently at reaching out to those that I have an email address or other method of contact. Please spread the word that a new page has been launched! Come over to the new page and follow us.

Our backpack gifting has begun! Today LHOHH donated filled drawstring backpacks to The Way Ministries in Sacramento. This organiztion has face-face contact with individuals experiencing homelessness. Additionally, LHOHH began a clothing donation campaign to support their clothing closet ministry. We look forward to continued collaboration.

Tomorrow we will be driving over to Fort Bragg, CA to gift 40 filled backpacks to The Hospitality House (THH). This is an ongoing collaboration. LHOHH gifts a couple times a year to this awesome program which supports those in their city experiencing homelessness. THH shares our donations with their sister program which is a transitional housing program.

Lastly for this post, LHOHH will be gifting 50 children's backpacks to two area Title I schools. Each back will contain school supplies appropriate for the grade level selected! We are so happy to restart the gifting of school backpacks for children.
